Viva Las Vegas!!!!

Jared and I took a trip to Las Vegas, it was my first trip without my Brookey Sue. This was my first time leaving her over night with anyone, so I was having a really hard time leaving her, I was so just so nervous for many reasons. I over think things and I always think the worst in a situation like this, like I am going to die and never see her again. I know I am crazy. We left her with my parents, so I knew that she was in good hands, but none the less I hated to leave her!!We left Tuesday morning really early and got to Vegas at about noon we stayed at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. It was so nice, it was the coolest hotel that we have ever stayed in. We got a room with a terrace, and a huge bath tub, that was something I was adiment on wanted a large tub to just relax in and we got it and I used it like twice a day!! The hotel room was beautiful we loved it so much!!We went to lunch at Holstein's in the hotel, if you got to Vegas, we highly recommend this place so yummy! Then we just walked around went to the M&M factory, the Coke factory and the Wax Museum it is a really fun place we took some fun pictures. When we got to the Wax museum they told us one of the rooms were closed, but it

was the older stars of Vegas so we thought it still sounded fun so we went through it anyways. We got to the part where it was closed and behind the curtain was a wax figure of Celine Dion!! I was so bummed because the whole way through I was hoping to see her. So Jared being the sweet guy he is went and talked to a manager and they told us we could come back tomorrow to see her, that is what we did we went back the next day and they told us she wasn't there she was at local news station. BOO!! I was again so bummed, people that know me know that I am obsessed with Celine so I was pretty sad. We did a lot of walking around it was really fun, but I brought cute shoes not comfortable ones, oops. One night I had on5 inch heels, let me tell you it was a dumb decision ha ha. The next day we slept in and ate breakfast in bed and then went out walking some more. That night we went to the Cheesecake Factory, yummy and then to our show we went to the Variety show it was pretty fun. Our original plans were, we had tickets to see Celine Dion in her concert and two days before we left her show was canceled. Again very

bummed, it was like everything was preventing us from seeing her!! But we still had so much fun being there together!! One morning Jared took us to a place to get massages, it was my first massage it was so nice. It felt so good just to relax!! Then after that we went to the Pawn Shop ( the one from history channel) Jared likes that show so we had to stop in. We waited like 10 minutes to get in so not bad, and we walked around it for a minute, I found a diamond ring in there I wanted it was so pretty it was only $14,000 and Jared wouldn't buy it for me ha ha. I am so grateful that we were able to take this trip, it was so fun just us and to laugh and be together. We have so much fun together, I swear we are constantly laughing I love it!! And let me tell you I am so grateful to live in Utah and not see naked women everywhere you look. I couldn't live there it is pretty trashy on the strip. It makes you glad to live in a place like utah. When we went and picked up Brooke she wouldn't go to me. I started to cry, but trying to hold it in I felt like I was going to have a breakdown. Then after a few minutes she wanted me Yay!!! It was so much fun to go and just be with my hubby, I love him so much and I am so blessed to have him in my life, He is so loving and giving toward me I am so spoiled by him!! Hello again...

Hello again, I am so bad at posting on here. But life has been good!!

The holiday's were really fun Ty and Sar were in Utah for the month of December, it was so much fun having them back!! All of the babies love Ty, when he was around he was the only person they wanted. He could cheer them all up make them laugh and just did silly things with them.They moved to New Mexico after the new year, it is hard having them gone, I miss them soo much!! Whitney and Sarah are both expecting little boys this June!! So fun I am so excited for both of them!! I can't believe how many nephews I have we need another girl, Brooke is all alone! But I don't think she minds it, she loves those boys!!

Brookey is getting so big, she is talking so much and is very independent. She is very sassy, oh boy does she have some spunk to her!! I absolutely loveit though, it is so cute!! I love being home with her we really have so much fun together! She is so smart too, it amazes me, she knows just what she wants and will figure out a way to get it. I am pretty much in love with her if you can't tell. She likes to dress up now and wear jewelry it is so cute she will walk around with necklaces on and bracelets, and rings. She likes to color, mostly on the walls or her table, I guess coloring books are boring ha ha. She loves shoes, she loves to put mine on and sometimes even Jared's shoes, She is such a girly girl and I love it!! Sowe got a dog for about 5 minutes. Ihad been wanting a dog for her and was looking and found a Beagle mix on a website, so we went to look at her and came home with her, her name was Zoe. She was so adorable and just loved Brooke, she would follow her around every where it was so cute! But 5 days later we had to get rid of her because of Jared's allergies, I was so sad, I cried for two days, I am such a baby. And the worst part is the that Brooke still goes to the back door and nocks on the glass and calls for Zoe, it is getting less and less which I am thankful for because I would cry every time she said her name. So Jared's parents are going on a mission to Lubick,Texas they leave February 20th. We are sad to see them leave but excited for them at the same time. It is going to be really hard though, Brooke not seeing them, if I think about it too much I cry. The closer it gets the harder it is getting for me. I really am going to miss them, Holidays will be really weird without them around. We love them and are so proud and excited for them!! They will be great missionaries, the people of Texas are very lucky!! We love you guys!! Here are a few pictures!! I got a little picture happy!!

Pistachios and Halloween

So me and Brookey decided to tag along with my parents to Ca lifornia a couple weeks ago! It was so much fun the weather was great, we went to Catalina Island, Disneyland, the Aquarium. We had lots of fun! The first day started out great Mom, Brookeand I went grocery shopping the we got pedicures so fun!! We got back to the boat and were watching a movie and eating pistachios, and Brooke wanted some so we crumbled up two and gave them to her, well within 5 minutes she started to act funny her face was kinda swelling and she sounded like she was having trouble breathing. So I really started to panic and so we raced to the ER and luckily my mom found some benadryl in the car, by the time we got to the hospital she was barely breathing and had welts on her face and her face was really swollen. We found out that she is allergic to Pistachios, we were at the hospital for a while and then we got to leave she did great!! It was one ofthe scariest moments of my life not being able to help her, I am just so grateful we were 2 minutes from the hospital and that it is only pistachios if it was peanuts that would be so hard and scary I am so glad that I wasn't alone dealing with this. It is crazy how fast she reacted to the nuts, so now I am little paranoid cause they told us the next time she has them everything will happen faster! It was very scary, but so good to know! I love that little girl more than anything and in that moment of not knowing what to do or if she will be ok, it kinda changes you, you love her even more ( if that is possible ha ha) and you have more patience!! I feel so blessed that she is ok!! It was so cute Garrett was so worried about her at the hospital he just kept crying, that just about broke my heart he is the sweetest kid around! I love that boy he just makes everything so fun, he can always put a smile on face no matter what is going on. He is so funny he made up a song about pistachios and how we love them cause they are so good but now we hate them ha ha he is a riot! So the rest of the trip was really, really fun we went to Disneyland, my favorite place on Earth and it was so much fun! We had a blast!! I love my parents so much they are the best people!! We got home the friday before Halloween that was a little hectic to get everything ready for Halloween. It was kinda sad to be gone I felt like I missed some of Halloween but Halloween day was great we had so much fun us girls and my mom went to Gardener Village for pictures and then went home and cooked the took the kids out Trick or Treating it was so much funand such a warm night!! I loved it!! Well that is all from me today!!

Brooke's 1st Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday Brookey!! ( we just got internet, that is why this post is so late)

I can't even believe my little baby cakes is already one! This last year went by so fast, I am loving being a mom! She is just the sweetest baby, I love her so much! It is amazing how much they change and how fast, it is weird that you do everything for them and then all of sudden they can do so much alone. I love her so much, I am so thankful to be able to stay home with her everyday, it means so much to me to be the one that gets to raise her and see all of her achievements. I would be so sad if I had to miss any of that. She has changed my life in so many ways for the better, she has made me a better person, trying to be the best I can be in every way! I love You Brookey Sue!!! For her birthday we had our immediate families over for cake and ice cream. My mom helped me make cute bundt cakes, that turned out delicious! When it came to the cake eating I was expecting her to dig in and just devour the whole cake, well she wouldn't touch it and would barely eat it, I was a little bummed we didn't get more of a show ha ha.Brooke got so many presents from everyone, she got spoiled! We are so blessed to have such wonderful and supportive families!! Then on her actual birthday we went to the aquarium with Mimi, Uncle Gar, Auntie Whit and Tripp, Auntie Chels and Cal. It was so much fun, then we went to Blimpie's for lunch, yummy! Then went to Gardener Village and walked around, and I bought Brooke her first nice baby doll, that she loves so much, at the store she wouldn't let go of her, she is so cute!!! Hello.. It's been a while

Finally updating the blog it has been so long. We just got internet yipee!! So this summer has been pretty eventful. Tyler left for the Air Force in June, we went to California, then Lake Powell, Brooke turned 1, we went to Texas. It has been so hard to have Ty gone, we just went and visited him and watched him graduate. It was really cool to see everything but at the same time really hard to see some of the conditions that he had to live in. I really don't know how he worked out in that heat it is unbearable! But I am so proud of him, we don't get to see him until Christmas, that sucks and now his wife Sarah is moving down to Texas it is so sad to have both of them gone, but I guess we have to get used to them gone :( Brooke and I went to Cali with my parents for a few days and Jared came down for the weekend it was so much fun!! Lake Powell was very fun and HOT!! But Brooke loved it, she loves the water!! Then she turned 1 on August 2, I can't believe my baby is one!! Oh it went by so fast! Here are some of the things that she is doing now; She is walking, Says Mama,Dada, baba,Hi,Yay,Duck,Hey, drinking from a straw, and lots of other things but my mind is blanking now.
